Vacation Rental Policy
The home is completely furnished. Please bring your own beach towels and toiletries.
Minimum stay: There is a two-night minimum during non-holiday and off-season periods. During the high season and holidays there is a one-week minimum for La Playa and 3 days for La Paz and La Sirena. We do accommodate shorter stays for last minute bookings, however for never less than two nights.
Check In/Check Out: Check-in after 4:00 p.m., checkout time is 11:00 a.m. Requests for early check-in and/or late checkout will be accommodated when possible.
Pets: We allow well-behaved dogs, (maximum two-with added charge). They are not to be left unattended at the house. We are bordered on one side by the GGNRA public park. The beach in front of our house allows dogs to be off leash.
Large Groups and Parties: Large groups are not allowed due to the limitations of the septic system and the adverse impact on the home and the neighbors. The maximum overnight guests allowed are six in La Playa and 2 in each La Sirena or La Paz. You are limited to a maximum of double this number for day use. It is understood that you or your guests will not disturb, annoy, endanger or interfere with neighboring property owners or tenants with such entertaining. We reserve the right to terminate tenancies without any refund of rent, deposit, and cleaning fee if it should be determined that such parties are being held in the home. Unsupervised minors may not be left in possession of the home.
Rental Payment: The Rental Payment consists of the rent, 10% county hotel occupancy tax, cleaning fee, applicable pet fee, and security deposit. Deposit is 50% of total and due at time of
booking. The Rental Payment must be paid in full at the time of booking if the arrival date is within 60 days. Rates will be confirmed at time of booking. Reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of deposit or payment in full plus signed vacation rental agreement (vrbo agreement).
Payment method: credit card, cashier’s check required for short notice bookings.
Security Deposit: The entire Security Deposit will be returned to you if the rental is left in good order.
Smoking: Our vacation rental is a nonsmoking home. If you or your guests choose to smoke outside, we ask that you please keep the area clean.
Nature: In the event of stormy weather some homes in Stinson Beach experience power outages. This is beyond the control of the homeowner and refunds will not be made. Battery operated lamps and flashlights will be provided during your stay.
Cancellation Policy: All rental cancellations must be in writing and may be delivered in person, by mail, by email, or by fax. Refunds will occur as follows:
1. Written cancellation received 45 days or more before your Arrival Date: All monies will be repaid less a $100.00 Cancellation Fee.
2. Written cancellation received 44 days or less before your Arrival Date: The Cleaning Fee and the Security Deposit less a $100.00 Cancellation Fee will be refunded. The remaining “rent” will be held on behalf of the property owner. Any amounts that we are able to recover as a result of re-renting the property during your contractual rental period will be refunded to you.
